JOB MISSION:

 

Reporting to the Marketplace Manager, the Marketplace Key Account Lead has the leading role in developing and driving the strategic and tactical decisions for the dedicated digital marketplace accounts and New Balance partners.

 

This position will be responsible for driving the growth and success of the dedicated digital marketplace accounts, aligning with our wholesale and merchandising teams on the commercial objectives, and partnering with the IT and Customer Service teams on the technical requirements for marketplace operations. You will be a trader at heart, read the market, align trading and merchandising activity, and be able to provide strategic recommendations for the business whilst ensuring we deliver a premium brand experience.

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Drive day-to-day actions, being the POC for dedicated marketplaces and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Manage existing marketplace accounts and build brand-driven growth with these channels.

  • Lead the forecasting process for dedicated marketplaces.

  • Identify marketplace opportunities, determining the commerciality and prioritizing projects accordingly whilst managing the long-term strategic growth of the dedicated marketplaces.

  • Developing project plans to track and monitor the launch of marketplace programs.

  • Liaising closely with the EMEA wholesale teams, to ensure alignment with their overall strategies.

  • Working closely with the merchandising team to evaluate the stock opportunity and product range for marketplaces.

  • Managing relationships with Logistics to ensure the fulfillment of orders in line with agreed performance/SLAs.

  • Ensure and support product go-live based on target dates.

  • Provide timely, accurate, and proactive analysis to deliver actionable insights and recommendations utilising all available data sources.

  • Identify marketing opportunities with partners, and coordinate the requirements to support campaign launches.

  • Produce informative daily/weekly reports, marketing, and product performance.

  • Actively seek opportunities to increase revenue.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 4+ years of experience with marketplace and/or partner program operations.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in providing actionable insights and recommendations from reports and analysis.

  • Comfortable communication with senior leaders with strong influencing skills.

  • Proactive mindset to understand available opportunities and business priorities.

  • Able and willing to travel on occasion.

  • Fluent in English, and other European languages are an advantage.
